Designed for students ages 7 - 12, this week-by-week Interlochen and Traverse City area day camp offers students a chance to experience some of the magic of an Interlochen summer at a reduced cost while remaining flexible to family summer schedules.

Day Camp at YMCA Camp Hayo-Went-Ha on Torch Lake is the perfect introduction to the adventure of our overnight programs! At Hayo-Went-Ha Camps, campers find growth through challenge, practice the skills of building relationships, and discover themselves and the world around them.

Pathfinder Day Camp offers four different age-group options: Young Explorers (1/2 Day Program for 3-4-year-olds), Explorers (4-5-year-olds), Discovery (5-9-year-olds), and Adventure (9-12-year-olds). Other than our 1/2 day program for Young Explorers, camp is a full day of fun in the sun. Register for one week or all weeks at a 10% discount.

Nature Day Camp designed to encourage curiosity in the natural world, allow exploration of natural areas, and promote a sense of stewardship in the next generation. All Nature Day Camp sessions include outdoor activities, while providing a unique combination of content-rich programming and complimentary games and crafts. Open to campers ages 5-11.

The Y offers 5 different summer camps throughout the 10 weeks: Traditional, Leaders Club, Sports Camp, Science and Nature, and Art. Campers can mix and match camp weeks for a well rounded experience.  
Those with active Y family memberships will be able to apply to register for camp online on Monday, February 17th at 7:00am.

TACS Youth Sailing Camps
Ages 8-17 can learn the art and fun of sailing! Designed to teach sailing basics and beyond. When registering, please indicate experience level. Instruction is customized to the student! Beginning students each have their own Optimist Dinghy, sized just for young sailors: 8 foot long wooden sailing prams that are lightweight, safe and stable. These craft are so easy to operate that they are the world-wide choice of junior sailing programs. More advanced sailors will sail in the new Open Bics, Club 420s or Lasers. They hope to have 2025 Registration open around the 1st of February.
