On Saturday, September 30 from 2-5:00pm, the township parks committee will be holding a gathering to celebrate the new and improved amenities at Bowers Harbor Park including new playground equipment, a new basketball court, new pickleball courts and the resurfacing of the tennis courts.

The celebration will feature each sport and court with a brief demonstration and a chance for residents to give each sport a try via some basic skills training. In addition, there will be some just for fun (and some prizes) basketball free throw competitions for all ages. A scavenger hunt on the new playground, an activity trail along the park path, and the fire department with its trucks will add to the festivities. There will also be lawn games and board games in and around Pavilion #1.
