Halloween for All

  • Dennos Museum Center 1410 College Drive Traverse City, MI, 49686 United States (map)

Join Dennos Museum and Children's Therapy Corner for the second annual sensory-friendly Halloween event!  We will have a variety of fun activities with an emphasis on sensory sensitivity and accommodations to create an inclusive environment where all are welcome!

Visitors may self-select activities they would like to participate in, with descriptive maps provided at the entrance to the museum. Halloween activities may include pumpkin art projects, playdough monsters, coloring and activity pages, Discovery Gallery interactive exhibits, and Halloween treat bags.  The Dutmers Theater will be a designated quiet room, offering an easily accessible space to take a break.  A social story about the event will be available on our website within a week of the program for visitors to review and will also be emailed to those who RSVP in advance.  Although the museum has made considerations for sensory sensitivity for this event, families are encouraged to bring any accommodations that may be helpful. Questions about the event can be directed to Liz Celeste at eceleste@nmc.edu.

This event is free and registration is not required, but recommended.
