Peace Day in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at Great Lakes Children’s Museum
Hands-on, peace-promoting activity stations will be set up in the Great Lakes Room throughout each session (12:00-2:00 & 2:30-4:30). There will be a special story time beginning one hour after the start of each session. Activities and story time are included with admission to the museum. More info

Using rare and largely unseen film footage and photographs, Traverse City library this film (endorsed by the King Foundation) explores how Dr. King's ideas, beliefs and methods evolved in the face of the rapidly changing climate of the Civil Rights Movement. More info
