Earth Day Tree Planting and Blessing of the Rods
12555 Spirit of the Woods Rd, Brethren, MI
Join Spirit of the Woods & NoMi Forest School Homeschool group to plant a Black Willow tree for Earth Day!
The tree is being provided by Archangel Tree Archive, located in Copemish. The kids in the homeschool group cut & cloned their own trees back in February. In March, they transferred them to larger pots, and the one being planted was done by them as well.
They will also have SWCC VP & member of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians tribe, Jessica Steinberg, doing a Blessing of the Fishing Poles to honor the beginning of Trout season.
After the Blessing & tree planting we will set out for a relaxing Earth Day hike!
