Fall Drop In Classes for Toddlers to Preschool in Traverse City ($5 and under!) 2024

In Northern Michigan the “big kids” are heading back to school, but there are still plenty of fun classes available for our toddlers and preschool age kids. Read on for a list of Traverse City drop in classes that are $5 and under!

MONDAY
Preschool Adventures in Art - 9:30-10:15am

Young artists will have an opportunity to engage in themed activities while exploring various art methods. Line, shape, and color will be introduced through the use of paint, paper, pastels, and other various mediums. Each week different projects will be introduced as well as a short story.  Come ready to create your own art adventure, experimentation is encouraged! Drop in $5/session. Space is limited. Early registration is encouraged to save your spot.

Peepers Program “Nature School” - 10:00-11:00am
Grand Traverse Conservation District - 1450 Cass Road, Traverse City, MI, 49685
The Peepers Program is an adult-accompanied program for early learners ages 3-5 years old, of all experience levels with the natural world. Join the Grand Traverse Conservation District team for a 60-minute nature programs that include stories, crafts, music, and discovery activities. The program cost is $5/child per session.

Naturally Fun: Kids Farmers Market Program - 3:00-5:00 pm
Brownson Memorial Park in Kingsley
Meet your favorite librarians outside at Brownson Memorial Park for a program in partnership with the Kingsley Farmers Market, Naturally Fun! This drop-in activity will include crafts and more. Parents are encouraged to stay and assist. During the Kingsley Farmers Market (open from 3:00-7:00 pm). This program is free and open to the public.
